Meet Lucy
Hello! My name is Brooke Saward and I’m an Australian travel blogger. I was twenty years old when I boarded my first plane solo. Always having had an independent streak, I was determined to make my dream to travel to every corner of the globe a reality and after saving my pennies from my part time job, I boarded a flight bound for Paris and began exploring Europe for the first time.
Having grown up on the island of Tasmania off the coast of Australia, I was besotted by the sights, sounds and of course the smells of Paris. Freshly baked croissants wafting through the air, the sun glistening through the alleyways of Le Marais, fresh blooms in the market nearby Notre Dame Cathedral and final thoughts as the sun sets over the Seine.
On that same trip I ventured toward central Europe, having boarded a plane bound for Budapest. I soon realised my love of sensory overload was not exclusive to Paris and before I knew it, I was for all interpretations of the word obsessed with discovery – of both the world and of myself.
